Dr. Nilesh Satbhai has completed his training at the prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M Hospital in Mumbai. He then went on to earn his fellowship in various sub-fields of surgery. Dr. Nilesh has more than 10 years of experience and currently holds the position of Senior Consultant & Head of Department at Gleneagles Hospitals in Mumbai. He is also an Honorary Consultant for Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children in Parel, Mumbai.


During his career, he has received numerous awards and recognition for his work in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Some of his awards and fellowships include:

  • Robert Acland S&T Overseas Travelling Fellowship (2019) – Awarded by the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH)
  • R. G. Saraiya International Travelling Fellowship (2014) – Awarded by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI)
  • Best Paper Award (2008) at the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI)
